Lambert Lake Inn is for the independent adventurer as well as for those seeking peace and quiet. You can enjoy endless hiking, swimming, windsurfing, paddling and mountain biking. Lambert Lake contains fish, so bring a pole and try your luck at hooking dinner. Bring your golf clubs and try out the driving range. During your stay, we can arrange a massage or a Jin Shin Do session for you. The surrounding forest contains mature fir, cedar, spruce, hemlock, alder, and maple, and the gardens feature a great variety of plants as well as ornamental and fruit trees.

But, you may wish to spend your days lounging on the dock with a glass of wine and good book, birdwatching, sunbathing, visiting the greenhouse or looking for the shy beavers and wild sheep. It is a safe place to bring kids, as Lasqueti is one of the only places in BC which has no large predators. You can even take moonlit walks without any fear.

If the mood strikes, you can hike down to the ocean, there are two beaches about a mile away. Lasqueti is great for fishing as well as shellfishing. You can hire Barry Churchill's taxi service to give you a tour of the island, visit beautiful Squtty Bay Provincial Park, numerous beaches, the Blue Roof Pub, the Bakery for lunch and pizza on friday nights, or Tedito's for a cup of coffee and esoteric conversation. It is a Lasqueti tradition to pick up all hitchhikers, so you may wish to explore the island by throwing caution to the wind and thumbing a ride. Available on the island are kayak excursions, and for the golfer there are world-class courses just outside of Parksville.

Lambert Lake Inn is powered off-the-grid by renewable energy, so feel free to go see the waterwheel in action. We are sure you will enjoy your stay!
