To find Lambert Lake Inn on Lasqueti Island, BC:
Take the new island highway north from Nanaimo. Take the exit for Parksville to the old island highway. After passing through the town of Parksville, look for the Lasqueti Island passenger ferry sign on the right. The marina the ferry launches from is called French Creek Marina, and it lies between Parksville and Qualicum. If you find yourself in Qualicum, you've gone too far north. The ferry that crosses the Georgia Strait to Lasqueti Island is a passenger ferry only. Don't worry, make sure to call us, and we will pick you up on the other side. You can transport your own bike, kayak or canoe on the ferry. You will be required to supply your own food for lunches and suppers, so plan ahead. May we suggest the fish market located right in French Creek, opposite from the Lasqueti Ferry pier. When making your plans, please keep in mind there are no ferries on Tuesdays, and service on Wednesdays run only in July and August.
